Website Terms of Use

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms set out what you can expect from Macck, what we expect from you, and where responsibility sits when a machine helps with maintenance work.

Agreement

These terms govern visitors to the Macck website — askmacck.com, www.askmacck.com and anything published on them. By using the site, you agree to them.

If you are an active shop or an app user, your use of the Macck application is governed by the full B2B Service Terms, which cover accounts, connected systems, drafts and approvals, and anything written back to your records.

If you use Macck on behalf of a shop or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

What Macck is

Macck is a connected AI assistant for aircraft maintenance. It reads the sources you connect — technical publications, logbooks and aircraft records, compliance data, work orders, parts and inventory, scheduling, engine and flight data — and answers questions with those sources cited.

It is decision support. It is not an approved maintenance programme, not a substitute for the Aircraft Maintenance Manual or approved data, and not a certificated sign-off.

Your responsibility for maintenance decisions

Every maintenance action, airworthiness determination and record entry remains the responsibility of appropriately certificated personnel working from approved data.

Anything Macck drafts — a work order line, a logbook entry, a compliance date, a customer summary — is a draft until a person reviews and approves it. Where Macck writes back to a system, the write happens only after that review, and the result is read back and verified.

Accounts

  • Give accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, including anything a person with access to it does.
  • Tell us promptly about a suspected unauthorised use or a security problem.

Your data and content

You keep your rights in the data and content you supply or connect. You grant Macck the permission it needs to process that material in order to deliver the service to you — retrieving it, reasoning over it, generating answers and drafts, and storing your conversations.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to connect a source and to let Macck read it, including any consent required from aircraft owners or customers whose records you connect.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Macck for anything unlawful, or to make a maintenance decision that belongs with a person.
  • Do not connect or upload material you have no right to access.
  • Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape the service at scale, interfere with it, or reverse engineer it.
  • Do not misrepresent Macck's output as an approved determination or a manufacturer's position.

Connected systems and third parties

What Macck can see depends on the connections your shop enables and the permissions those providers grant. Each source keeps its own terms and pricing, and those terms apply alongside these.

If a connection is unavailable, expired or partially readable, answers may be incomplete. Macck is built to say what it could not reach rather than to guess.

Fees

Macck is quoted per shop based on aircraft count, users and the systems being connected. The quote and any agreement you sign with us govern what you pay and when.

There are no hidden per-message charges beyond what your quote states.

Availability and changes

Macck can change as it improves: sources added, answers refined, features introduced or retired. We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Where a change materially affects how you use the service, we will tell you in a reasonable way.

Intellectual property

Macck, its software, naming and materials belong to us or our licensors. Your data and your shop's records belong to you or their rightful owner.

We may use aggregated, non-identifying information about how the service is used to improve it.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of any answer, and we are not a party to the maintenance work you carry out.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for the outcome of a maintenance decision. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Ending your use

You can stop using Macck and ask for your account to be closed at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken, where continued use creates risk, or where we are required to.

Sections that should survive — ownership of your data, disclaimers, limitation of liability, contact — continue to apply after termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use of Macck after an update means the updated terms apply.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. For any question about these terms, write to info@aviox.ai.
