Who we are

Macck is built and operated by Aviox AI. This policy covers the marketing site (askmacck.com), the Macck application (app.askmacck.com), and the emails Macck sends on your behalf.

What we collect

We keep collection narrow and tied to running the service.

• Account details you give us: name, work email, organisation, role, and the aircraft or shops you are responsible for.
• Sign-in information when you use Google to sign in: your Google account name and email address.
• The questions you ask and the conversations you keep, so you can return to them later.
• Maintenance data your shop or you connect — technical publications, logbooks and aircraft records, work orders, compliance status, parts and inventory, scheduling, and engine or flight data.
• Basic technical records: log entries, timestamps, device and browser information, and email delivery logs.

How we use it

• To answer your questions and produce the tables, summaries, drafts and alerts the service shows you.
• To prepare changes for review and write back the ones a person has approved.
• To send notifications, reminders and scheduled reports you have asked for.
• To keep the service working: support, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

Where your data lives

Macck is a reading and reasoning layer over the systems you already run. Your shop's records stay in those systems, and access is governed by the permissions your shop and its providers set.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Some content is processed by third-party AI and infrastructure providers in order to generate answers and store the service. We use those providers to deliver Macck, not to build their own products from your material.

Automated answers

Macck composes answers from the sources it can reach and shows where an answer came from. When evidence is missing, unreadable, stale or in conflict, Macck says so rather than filling the gap.

Answers are decision support. Maintenance decisions still rest with appropriately certificated personnel working from approved data.

How long we keep things

Account and conversation data is kept while your account is active. Saved conversations stay until you delete them, and you can ask us to close an account and remove what is tied to it.

Data held inside your shop's own systems follows the retention rules of those systems and your shop.

Who sees it

• People in your organisation whom your shop's permissions allow.
• Our own staff, only where needed to operate and support the service.
• Service providers we use for hosting, storage, email delivery and AI processing.
• Anyone else only with your consent, or where we are legally required.

Security

Access is limited to people and systems that need it, credentials are kept out of the browser, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we work to keep the surface small rather than promise perfection.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct something that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can stop marketing or notification emails at any time by replying to one of them or writing to us.

Where a rule in your region gives you additional rights — access, portability, objection, or a complaint to a supervisory authority — tell us and we will handle it.

Children

Macck is a professional tool for maintenance shops and aircraft owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes materially, we update the date at the top of this page and, where the change matters to how you use Macck, we tell you directly.
